frequently asked questions

curious about the details? i got you.

what sort of experience do you have?

i've been a photographer since 2018, and i've also run my own recipe development/food photography blog and an online bakery since 2020. i know the struggles of running multiple businesses firsthand, so i know how important outsourcing can be for multiple reasons. i also spent over a year working remotely in the customer service field as well as working closely with marketing teams, so brand voice, social media engagement and email management are second nature to me, especially in a client-facing aspect.

do you only work with photographers?

short answer, no! i'm open to working with anyone who thinks i would be a good fit for their business. i do have my BA in digital photography, experience in the food + portrait photography fields, and experience running/managing blogs and social media accounts, so that makes me specifically qualified to work with photographers, bloggers, and anyone with similar businesses. my main goal is to take some of the burden off your plate and make you feel comfortable in outsourcing your work - so if we're a great fit, it doesn't matter what niche your business is in!

how do i know which package to choose?

the easiest way to figure out which package is right for you is to book a discovery call with me! discovery calls are quick, 15-30 minute video chats that allow both of us to get to know each other - it also lets me see what your goals are for your business and for me as your VA, so we can determine which package would work best for your goals. you can also fill out the contact form on my site with as much detail as you can share about your business and what your goals are for hiring a virtual assistant.

why does Pinterest management require its own package?

Pinterest is an entirely different "social media" platform than your typical Instagram or TikTok. Pinterest in itself is a tailored image search engine, and your content should be adapted to Pinterest's specific requirements - which makes it a much more intense job than just scheduling Instagram posts. To give you and your business my fullest attention and most potential for success on Pinterest, I offer Pinterest management as its own package for either 10 or 15 hours per week (which includes scheduling and posting, designing Pinterest image covers, repurposing content to your other social media accounts, and more).

what platforms do you use as a VA?

i use all the standard social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, etc.), so whether you need accounts set up or just managed on any of those platforms, i got you covered. i also primarily use Squarespace for website creation and management and Pixieset for client galleries and photog portfolios. some more platforms i absolutely love to use as a VA are Notion (organization + planning), Calendly (calendar bookings), and Trello (communication + goal visualization).

do you have a certain contract length?

yes! all packages require a minimum 3-month contract in order to get the best value for you starting out. i offer contracts of 3-months and 6-months depending on your needs, and all contracts are applicable to all packages. investments range from about $700/month to $2,100/month (and upward depending on any extra desired work).

do you offer custom packages?

yes! my packages are generalizations of popular tasks and timelines for different stages of your business. if you have specific tasks or a certain number of hours per week you'd like to discuss, i'm more than happy to make adjustments to any packages to fit you and your needs.
