more about me

meet the gal behind the biz

nice to meet you! i'm abby.

i'm a ravioli-obsessed, Spotify playlist-making, animated movie-loving twenty-five year old with a knack for organization and a passion for ditching the 9-to-5 lifestyle. i'm a july leo, the photographer friend, a pro steering wheel drummer, and i radiate grandpa energy (i.e. 9 pm bedtime, cold coronas with lime, and classic rock on repeat).

-

ever since i was old enough to have a job, i knew the traditional workforce was very much not for me. i stuck it out in different positions, from retail cashier to head baker to doggie daycare worker, but i always had that itch to break free from the mundanity of clocking in to work 40 hours a week for somebody else.

in 2018 i got my first camera and began growing my photography business, first taking family photos for my siblings for free and slowly but surely branching out to my local community. i also started working in customer service remotely, where my life consisted of emails, social media engagement, more emails, answering phones, and... yep - more emails.

-

in 2020, i finally said "see ya never" to the corporate world, quit my customer service job, and ventured out on my own. i realized i could combine my love for food and photography, and so my beloved food-blog-slash-online-bakery, Eat With Abigail, was born. i continued to pursue photography locally as well, and have been bakin' goodies and snappin' pics around central MA ever since.

-

more recently, i've pursued virtual assisting as a way to continue working remotely, set my own hours, be my own boss, and get to help other small businesses grow to their fullest potential!

my goal as a virtual assistant is to be the extra set of hands that i never had, but so desperately needed. far too often, small business owners forego their own needs for the sake of their business, and it costs them hours of work and loads of sanity they can never get back - but that's where i'm here to help.
-
i value creatives so heavily because i know the field, and i know how hard it can be to find the time to accomplish everything we need to run a successful business in this ever-changing technical and social society. algorithms and expectations change in the blink of an eye, and having a super sidekick to lean on can be the best thing you ever do for your growing business.
-
i love being able to support other photographers and creatives to prioritize their time and grow their small businesses - it's a hard job, and sometimes you just need an extra pair of hands to do it! I'm here to be your go-to for all things business related - you can pass off allll those tedious tasks and know you're in good hands doing so.
